Jingle Bear 5K Race 2012

Today was the Jingle Bear 5K Race and what a great race to kick off December! 

The best thing about this race is how the event directors made it their own. They provided jingling bells for people to attach to their bodies and shoes as well as santa hats to all the race participants. Sure, you might not choose to run the race in the santa hats but it makes for a great gesture that places a smile on everyones face!

At the end of the race it was easy to see all the cheer in the crowd with spectators and athletes all wearing their hats and jingling away. 

Many of the successful races these days have something that makes it unique and interesting. It keeps people coming back every year and it is also a lot of fun to play the part. Many races that do a great job of doing this are the links below!
